How can we live a meaningful life, in touch with ourselves and with Mother Earth? Facing the crises of climate change, the destruction of biodiversity, and political polarization, how can we keep a level head and take care of our strong emotions, all the while contributing creatively to reduce suffering? This session of applied mindfulness, led by senior monastic Dharma teachers of scholar, poet, peace activist, and Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh’s Plum Village Tradition from Deer Park Monastery, California, will train us in the art of mindful living, so we can find dynamic responses to the ever-changing difficulties in our study, work and relationships.
NEXT WEEK: EARTH WEEK!
Stay tuned for all that's happening on campus during Earth Week! We'll be sending an email out soon with further details. In the meantime, mark your calendar for the annual Earth Day Town Hall happening next Tuesday, focusing on Dartmouth's energy transition!
