KOMBUCHA MAKING WORKSHOP!
12:30PM - 1:30PM | Sustainability Kitchen, 2nd Floor Irving
Love kombucha? Tired of paying $8 to get it at Novack? Join Jaya & Journey '28 to learn how to make your own!
Jaya and Journey will be walking you through how to kombucha-at-home while also trying various brands (including homemade!). Note that this WILL NOT set you up with materials to start your own kombucha, just knowledge. They will be meeting in the sustainability kitchen on the 2nd floor of Irving. Please BYOM (bring your own mug) and get excited to scoby!

Join Abby, Hannah C., Journey, and special guest Simone Whitecloud for a cozy trip to the O-Farm! You will be spending time inside the barn by the warm wood fire. Simone works with the Susty office and will be bringing lots of cool plants for a show and tell! It will be a very relaxed discussion with no experience needed
Vans pick up behind Robo after 2s and arrive back by 5pm!

WGSS Prof Mimi Thi Nguyen will conduct a free manuscript workshop for a book-length work as the keystone of tenure and promotion dossiers.

LECTURE - WHY SERVICE MATTERS

A conversation that will help students develop skills to optimize their work in community service efforts.
Taking care of your community is at the heart of all healthcare initiatives. There are many ways to be helpful in community service endeavors. And similar to any other practice, there are ways to be more skillful with guidance. In this seminar, we will learn from two expert community advocates with decades of experience working closely with patients, families, and community members. Participants will gain new insights on how to be an advocate, how to ground a career in service, and skills to sustain this difficult and meaningful work.
Join Dr. Manish K. Mishra, Professor Elizabeth Carpenter-Song, Sara Kobylenski (Former Director of the Upper Valley Haven), and Pediatrician Steven Chapman.

LAW AND DEMOCRACY WITH PETE BUTTIGIEG

Join for "Law and Democracy: The United States at 250" with Pete Buttigieg, former U.S. Secretary of Transportation. Secretary Buttigieg will be the Dartmouth Rockefeller Center's 2025-26 Class of 1930 Named Fellow.
The conversation will be moderated by John Carey, John Wentworth Professor in the Social Sciences and Professor of Government; Interim Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences; Herschel Nachlis, Senior Associate Director and Senior Policy Fellow, Rockefeller Center, and Research Assistant Professor of Government; and Lucia Vitali '26, Vice Chair of New Hampshire College Democrats and as Executive Director of the Dartmouth College Democrats.
This program is cosponsored by the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Public Policy at Dartmouth, Dartmouth Dialogues, the Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy and Society, the Office of the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and the Office of the Associate Dean for the Social Sciences.
