2025 LOCAL SOLUTIONS: BOUNCING FORWARD TO CREATE RESILIENT COMMUNITIES

We invite poster presentations based on applied research supporting one or more of the conference’s four tracks: energy resilience, public health, affordable and resilient housing, and flooding. An award of $100 will be given to the best poster presentation, as determined by a panel of judges. You must fill out this form to be eligible to enter your research poster. Criteria for submission include:

• Eligibility: Currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students from institutions of higher education in Canada and the U.S.; 

• Intent to Submit: 100-word (maximum) short summary describing the research objectives and findings you plan to present (this is for planning purposes);  

• Acceptable format: Acceptable format for posters will be a minimum 22"x 28"  and a maximum of 32” x 42”, that can be attached to standing dividers or displayed individually on a stand that the presenter provides. Final posters must be printed by the presenter.

• Attendance: Presenters are required to attend and register for the conference. Student rates apply. 

• Deadline for Submission: July 1, 2025. Please submit this form to submit a proposal. We will notify you to confirm your poster will be on display and eligible for the award.
