PHENOLOGY 1: PLANTS
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM | Dartmouth Organic Farm
Miranda Zammarelli is a fourth-year PhD student in Dartmouth College's Ecology, Evolution, Environment and Society program. She studies the relationships among habitat selection, reproductive success, and singing behavior of migratory songbirds using the Ovenbird as her main study species.
Pooja Panwar is a fourth-year PhD student in the Ecology, Evolution, Environment, and Society program at Dartmouth College. Her research focuses on using novel Passive Acoustic Monitoring techniques to understand the distribution and changes in bird communities in the forests of the Northeastern US.
Wyatt Cummings is a research technician working in the Ayres Lab in Dartmouth College's Biological Sciences department. He works on a variety of projects relating to bird vocalizations, passive acoustic monitoring, and forest invertebrate ecology.
Against the backdrop of springtime in the Connecticut River valley, we invite you to participate in a discussion of the seasonality of plants and animals that make up our local ecosystems.
This is the second of three discussions of phenology at the Dartmouth Organic Farm. The last talk with me 7:30PM on May 6th.

All are welcome, whether you've been involved in the past or are looking to get started with Sustainability now! Share ideas, ask questions, or just take a little snack break with us.
POP-UP BIKES SHOP
3 - 5PM | Bikes Shop (Fahey-Mclane patio)
Dartmouth Bikes hosts Pop Up Bike Shops (PUBS) weekly (weather permitting) outside of the bike shop on the Fahey-McLane patio located on the Tuck Mall side of the building. These are for simple bike registrations, tune-ups requiring less than 15 minutes of work, as well as general maintenance like chain lube and air (which are always free).
FARM WORK DAY
3:30PM - 5:30PM | Rides from behind Robo
Come out to the O-Farm Tuesday morning for a workday where we'll be seeding among other things!! We will be leaving from behind Robo at 3:30pm, and we'll be back by 5:30pm. No experience required, just bring a water bottle and dress for the weather!

THURSDAY, MAY 1st
OFARM PIZZA DINNER
Join Hannah C '26 and Hannah M '26 for a pizza dinner at the O Farm this Thursday! We'll be meeting behind Robo at 6 pm, taking a quick drive over to the farm where you'll get to prepare pizzas & cook them in the oven before returning to campus by 8!!

Come swing by our on-campus thrift store, the Free Market, this weekend! All clothing is reclaimed from Dartmouth's waste streams. Instead of buying new clothing, get second-hand for free!
