MONDAY, APRIL 27th
CLIMATE WEEK KEYNOTE - DR. AYANA ELIZABETH JOHNSON
4:30PM - 5:45PM | Wilder 104
Join the Climate Collaborative for a conversation with Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson moderated by Earth Sciences Professor, Erich Osterberg in Wilder Hall 104. Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson is a marine biologist, policy expert, and writer. She is co-founder of the non-profit think tank Urban Ocean Lab, distinguished scholar at Bowdoin College, and author of The New York Times bestseller What If We Get it Right?: Visions of Climate Futures. She is in love with climate solutions. This talk is unticketed and open to the public.

"LONGEST TABLE-STYLE" COMMUNITY POTLUCK DINNER
6PM-8PM | Fairchild Atrium
Join the Climate Collaborative for a "Longest Table" style community potluck dinner in the Fairchild Atrium to celebrate community and climate resilience. A base meal will be provided, please bring homemade sides and desserts! All are welcome, please RSVP .

SEED AT FARM!!

Start your Tuesday right! Join Helen '27 and Sophie '28 at the Organic Farm! We will be prepping the fields for planting.
Bring a water bottle and shoes you can get dirty. No experience required! We will be in the Hoop House (our greenhouse) so it will be warm and dry.

CLIMATE WEEK - CLIMATE AND HEALTH PANEL
12PM - 1PM | Kellogg 100
Join Dr. Amber Barnato, Dr. Sarah Crockett, Dr. Laura Paulin, Dr. Katie Lichter, and Dr. Kali Smolden for a discussion moderated by Climate Collaborative Director Rosi Kerr in Kellogg 100 on the health impacts of climate change and more!
CLIMATE WEEK - ARCTIC-SUSTAINABILITY IMMERSION TRIP STUDENT PANEL
1PM - 2PM | Haldeman Hall 41 (Kreindler Conference Hall)
Green Transitions and Traditions: Students from the 2026 Arctic-Sustainability Immersion Trip will share their reflections and answer questions around their experience.
The purpose of the trip was to connect with and learn from Sámi Peoples and Arctic researchers about how green transitions impact and involve Indigenous livelihoods and cultures. The goal was also for students to become more informed citizens, with their trip experiences informing their academics at Dartmouth as well as their future careers. Institute of Arctic Studies Program Manager Sanaa Siddiqi and Assistant Director to the Dartmouth Sustainability Office Laura Braasch organized the trip. Please note, the event will be recorded.

FLOWER SEEDING AT O-FARM!
9:30AM - 11:15AM | North Mass Basement
Join Kaitlyn '28 and Alex '28 for a fun morning at the farm! We will leave from behind robo at 9:30 and be back before 11s! The plan is to seed flowers in the greenhouse, so no need to worry about the weather. Just wear clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty and remember to bring a water bottle. We hope to see you there!

CLIMATE WEEK - SUSTAINABLE INNOVATION: AI, INCLUSION & ACCESSIBILITY FROM A YOUTH PERSPECTIVE
4PM - 5PM | Irving 155 (Irving Project Hub)
Join the Climate Collaborative for a talk by Rakib Anam, a Bangladeshi-American climate activist working at the intersection of artificial intelligence and sustainability. This interactive talk examines sustainable innovation through the lenses of youth, accessibility, and inclusion. Drawing from his work in climate tech, youth advocacy, and AI for global development, Rakib Anam explores how meaningful innovation is not just about building smarter technology, but about ensuring that technology is accessible, human-centered, and shaped by the communities it aims to serve. The talk is open to the public and will be in Irving 155.

5:30PM - 6:30PM | One Wheelock, Collis
Come hear from students about their experiences on immersion trips, experiential scholars programs, and FSPs in One Wheelock @ Collis. Drinks and dinner provided!
