Don't let the high heat of late summer stop you from being sustainably minded! Check out neat things to do below!

MONDAY, AUGUST 4th

POP-UP BIKES SHOP (PUBS)
3:00 - 5:00PM | Fahey-McLane patio
  • Are your handlebars loose? Tires flat? Chain squeaky and rusty? Come to PUBS!

  • Please be aware there might be high demand and a long queue, and plan accordingly. This event is for QUICK FIXES ONLY.

  • Small fixes are just $10 for 15 minutes of labor (plus the cost of any parts). We only accept DASH Discretionary via the GET Mobile app, so please bring your phone, ID Card, and have your DASH preloaded with some money.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 5th

O-FARM WORK DAY
8 - 10AM | Rides from next to Robo
  • Join Purnika and Manu for a whimsical trip to the farm on Tuesday morning! We will be doing a variety of weeding, planting, and harvesting.

  • The weather looks a little chilly, so bring layers as well as a water bottle!

THURSDAY, AUGUST 7th

SUSTAINABILITY OFFICE HOURS
12 - 1:30PM | Outside Robo (rain location: Robo 106)
  • Join Sustainability staff for delicious homemade sweets and susty conversation!

  • All are welcome, whether you've been involved in the past or are looking to get started with Sustainability now! Share ideas, ask questions, or just take a little snack break with us.


FRIDAY, AUGUST 8th

O-FARM WORK DAY
10AM - 12PM | Rides from behind Robo
  • Join Reva '27 (she/her) and Flora '27 (she/her) for a fun Friday morning trip to the farm! We will be doing a variety of weeding, planting, and harvesting.

  • It's looking to be quite warm and potentially rainy, so please be sure to bring a raincoat and a water bottle!

SATURDAY, AUGUST 9th

FREE MARKET THRIFT STORE OPEN HOURS
11:30AM - 1:30PM | North Mass Basement
  • Did you know, Dartmouth produced over eleven THOUSAND pounds of potential textile waste this spring alone? Luckily, thanks to our amazing partners at Apparel Impact, that clothing can either be recycled or upcycled. And, much of it finds its way to our Free Market Thrift Store—so swing on by this week to see what you'll find!

SUNDAY, AUGUST 10th

  • Join us for a special lunch celebration in honor of our community's guestworkers, with music from Las Cafeteras and food from The Karibbean. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend!

Nature and Nurture: Guided Immersion
Wednesday, August 13th | 10AM -11AM | BEMA
  • Join us for a playful and grounding hour outdoors designed to help you reconnect with the earth, with joy, and with yourself. Through guided activities (like mindfulness, a joyful forest walk, and poetry writing) we’ll explore how nature can be a powerful companion in building resilience, relieving stress, and remembering how good it feels to just play outside.

  • Meet at the BEMA at 10am; rain location tbd.
