REGISTER FOR THE LOCAL SOLUTIONS CONFERENCE
SEPTEMBER 18 & 19, 2025
Register TODAY for the 2025 Local Solutions Conference: Bouncing Forward to Create Resilient Communities, to be hosted HERE at Dartmouth! This is an incredible opportunity to learn from and network with climate resilience practitioners, brought straight to campus.
This is the sixth biannual convening of the conference focused on promoting a rural Northeast region that is climate resilient, equitable, economically revitalized, and decarbonized!

MONDAY, JULY 14th
POP-UP BIKES SHOP (PUBS)
3 - 5PM | Fahey-McLane patio
Are your handlebars loose? Tires flat? Chain squeaky and rusty? Dartmouth Bikes will be hosting a pop-up bike shop every Monday 3:00 – 5:00 PM.
Please be aware there might be high demand and a long queue, and plan accordingly. This event is for QUICK FIXES ONLY.
Small fixes are just $10 for 15 minutes of labor (plus the cost of any parts). We only accept DASH Discretionary via the GET Mobile app, so please bring your phone, ID Card, and have your DASH preloaded with some money.
TUESDAY, JULY 15th
BZZZZZ-Y O-FARM WORK DAY
8 - 10AM | Rides from next to Robo
Join Helen and Flora for a morning workday at the O-Farm. Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Today we will be checking in on the bee hives! Bee suits will be provided.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 16th
SUSTAINABILITY OFFICE HOURS
12 - 1:30PM | Outside Robo (rain location: Robo 106)
Join Sustainability staff for delicious homemade sweets and susty conversation!
All are welcome, whether you've been involved in the past or are looking to get started with Sustainability now! Share ideas, ask questions, or just take a little snack break with us.
PADDLE TO O-FARM PIZZA DINNER
5 - 9PM | Paddle from Ledyard Clubhouse, rides from behind Robo
Paddling to the O-Farm for a pizza dinner!!! SUPER BEGINNER FRIENDLY.
Most of us will leave from Ledyard around 5pm on canoes, make homemade pizzas, then paddle back to campus. Some others will drive straight to the O-Farm in a van and then drive back, along with some of the people who paddled.

THURSDAY, JULY 17th
O-FARM WORK DAY
8 - 10AM | Rides from behind Robo
Come join Reva and Manu for a morning farm workday, arguably the best way to start your day.
At the O-Farm, we will doing a variety of tasks including planting, weeding, and harvesting. Wear clothes that you are okay getting dirty and bring a water bottle.

FRIDAY, JULY 18th
FRIDAY FARM WORK DAY
12 - 2PM| Rides from next to Robo
No better way to kick off your weekend than to join Sam (he/him) and Kaitlyn (she/her) for a mid-day trip to the farm!
Make sure to wear clothes you are okay with getting dirty—at the Farm we will planting, weeding, and harvesting! Weather is looking to be high 70s to low 80s so please remember to bring a water bottle. We hope to see you there :)

SATURDAY, JULY 19th
FREE MARKET THRIFT STORE OPEN HOURS
11:30AM - 1:30PM | North Mass Basement
Did you know, Dartmouth produced over eleven THOUSAND pounds of potential textile waste this spring alone? Luckily, thanks to our amazing partners at Apparel Impact, that clothing can either be recycled or upcycled. And, much of it finds its way to our Free Market Thrift Store—so swing on by this week to see what you'll find!
