WEDNESDAY, MAY 28th

POP-UP BIKES SHOP
3:30 - 5:30PM | Bikes Shop (Fahey-Mclane patio)
  • Dartmouth Bikes hosts Pop Up Bike Shops (PUBS) weekly (weather permitting) outside of the bike shop on the Fahey-McLane patio located on the Tuck Mall side of the building. These are for simple bike registrations, tune-ups requiring less than 15 minutes of work, as well as general maintenance like chain lube and air (which are always free).


FARM WORK DAY
1PM - 3PM | Rides from behind Robo
  • Come out to the O-Farm Wednesday afternoon for a workday where we'll be seeding among other things!! We will be leaving from behind Robo at 1PM, and we'll be back by 3PM. No experience required, just bring a water bottle and dress for the weather!

O-FARM PIZZA DINNER
6PM to 8PM | Dartmouth Organic Farm
  • Come enjoy a spring eve away from campus, making pizza at the Dartmouth Organic Farm!

  • We'll provide all the supplies to make your own pizzas that we'll cook in our wood-fired pizza oven.

  • No experience necessary, and we can accommodate dietary restrictions.

  • We'll leave from next to Robo at 6 and be back by 8

THURSDAY, MAY 29th

IMPACTS OF GLOBALIZED CLEAN ENERGY: A TALK WITH DR. SARAH KELLY
7PM | Irving Project Hub
  • Have you ever wondered about the environmental and social impacts of "clean" energy? Join Dr. Sarah Kelly's Energy Justice Class for a conversation with local, indigenous, and academic voices from Chiloé, Chile and Guajira, Colombia to dig into the challenges of large industrial wind projects in these communities.

  • Dinner is provided!


FEAST AND FIELD EVENT TRIP

4:30PM - 9PM | Fable Farm

  • Come out the the gorgeous orchards of Fable Farm for dinner and live music! We will be leaving campus around 4:30 and taking a 45-ish minute drive into Vermont. There will be live music by local Chad Hollister Band, and freshly prepared dinner that is grown, raised, and harvested right on the farm!

  • Tickets will be covered and we will cover part of dinner but bring extra money if you want more food! Hope to see you there!🌷

FRIDAY, MAY 23rd

FREE MARKET THRIFT STORE HOURS 12PM - 3PM | North Mass Basement
  • Excited by our new thrift store and want to help sustain our efforts? Shocked by the amount of waste on campus and want a tangible way to curb it? Join us for a volunteer work session at the Free Market!

  • Help fold and sort clothing, organize the thrift store space, and more.


COMMUNITY LUNCH
12:30PM - 1:30PM | Irving Commons (second floor)
  • Take a moment to pause, come together, and celebrate the incredible resilience, kindness, and conviction we’ve witnessed in our community this winter—and you’re invited! Your friends are, too! 

  • On the menu is pasta salad, roasted veggies and a green salad (greens from the OFarm) with plentiful vegan and gluten-free options.

 

SATURDAY, MAY 24th

FREE MARKET THRIFT STORE OPEN HOURS
12PM - 3PM | North Mass Basement
  • Come swing by our on-campus thrift store, the Free Market, this weekend! All clothing is reclaimed from Dartmouth's waste streams. Instead of buying new clothing, get second-hand for free!

SUNDAY, MAY 25th

  • See above–same thrift store, with perhaps some new finds! 👀
