ECOREPS

The EcoReps is our first year internship program. EcoReps work together to understand a sustainability challenge and then design and implement a solution. EcoReps apply in the early fall for full-year, paid positions that occupy 4-8 hours of their average week. The program starts with an intensive, supportive training program focused on developing them as effective change agents and leaders.

 

Workshops train them in Design Thinking, behavior change theory, Dartmouth operations, organizational change, and the history of sustainability at Dartmouth. In the winter and spring, EcoReps design a project to tackle one sustainability challenge and implement a solution. Past EcoRep teams have tackled sustainable dining, space utilization, water, energy, and sustainability goal setting.
