GREEN GROUPS

Green Groups are a great way to get involved in sustainability on campus! The following groups are all actively working on important issues on campus. If you are having trouble contacting a group or finding out when meeting times are, email us at sustainable.dartmouth@dartmouth.eduYou can also email us to get on the Ruckus listserv to make sure you stay in the loop for sustainability happenings on campus!

  • FARM CLUB: Organizes educational, social, and volunteer opportunities at the Dartmouth Organic Farm. Farm Club meets Wednesdays from 4:00-5:00pm in Hornig Library (in Fairchild). Farm Club weekly workdays are Tuesday and Friday mornings from 8-10am with rides leaving from behind Robo at 8am (back in time for the 10 and 10A classes). Join us! Farm Club also hosts farm stands outside Collis Friday afternoons in summer and fall. Use cash or DA$H to buy fresh produce, honey, maple syrup, and flowers from the O-Farm!

  • DIVEST DARTMOUTH: Divest advocates for transparency, accountability, and a transition away from fossil fuel investments in the Dartmouth endowment. Divest meets weekly on Tuesdays at 9pm in Robo 106. All are welcome!

  • GROWING CHANGE: Teaches a farm to school curriculum in class and after school for a local elementary school, including stewardship of an educational garden and orchard. This club is sponsored by the Center for Social Impact.
